Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms cover how you may use GlassReflex, the macOS app, and how refunds work. We kept them short and in plain language. By installing or buying GlassReflex, you agree to them.
1. Who sells GlassReflex
GlassReflex is made by the GlassReflex team ("we"). Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller (merchant of record): it sells you the license, takes the payment, and issues your receipt. Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
2. Your license
When you buy GlassReflex, you get a license key. It lets one person use GlassReflex:
- on up to two Macs at the same time;
- for personal use and for work;
- for as long as you like: the license does not expire.
The license includes every future version of GlassReflex we release, major versions too.
3. Using GlassReflex without a key
You can download GlassReflex for free. Without a key, Settings and its live preview work fully, so you can see the effects before you buy. The effects on the rest of your screen turn on once you enter a valid key.
4. What you may not do
- Share your key with other people, or sell or give it away.
- Use one key on more Macs at the same time than the license allows. If you need more, buy another key.
- Distribute GlassReflex or modified copies of it.
- Get around the license check.
- Reverse engineer the app, except where the law gives you that right.
5. Activation and offline use
Your key is activated over the internet once. After that GlassReflex works offline with no time limit. If our license server can't be reached, or stops existing, your copy keeps working. When you are online, the app occasionally checks whether the key is still valid. A key that has been refunded or charged back stops working.
To move GlassReflex to another Mac, deactivate the key in the app on the old Mac. If you can't, because the Mac is lost, broken, or sold, write to us and we'll free up the slot.
6. Updates
Updates are included in your license. The app checks our website for new versions and asks before installing one. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings and check by hand whenever you like. We plan to keep improving GlassReflex, but we can't promise that future versions will be released, or that they will support every Mac and every version of macOS.
7. Refund policy
If GlassReflex is not for you, you can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. No questions asked.
To ask for a refund, write to support@glassreflex.app, or use the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt. The money goes back to the payment method you used, through Lemon Squeezy. After the refund, your key stops working.
8. Privacy
GlassReflex does not collect, store, or send what you do on your Mac. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
9. No warranty
GlassReflex is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee that it will be free of bugs or work on every Mac.
GlassReflex draws its glass using parts of macOS that Apple may change in a system update. If that happens, the app switches to the standard system glass and keeps working, while we prepare an update.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using GlassReflex, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
11. Ending the license
If you break these terms, your license ends and you must stop using GlassReflex. You can stop using GlassReflex at any time by deleting it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do. Changes never take away what you have already bought: the version you own, the number of Macs, and included updates stay as they were when you bought your license.
